Preparing for your Custom Branding Session

You’ve booked your shoot, now what?

Well, first off, let me just say, I am so excited to spend time with you as we work together to build your brand. My goal, always, is to make this as fun and laid back as possible for you. I think preparing you for what to expect is a great first step :)

Via email we will discuss location, exact session time, wardrobe and answer any questions you may have.

On average, people spend about five seconds on a website before they decide whether or not to stick around. First impressions matter…even on the interwebs.

Your personal brand is what is going to set you apart and give you an edge to attract your ideal client. It will give people a glimpse into the “who” behind your business.

You are what makes your business unique. I want to help you tell the story of who you are.

Here are a few tips to help you prepare for your session with me.

Time:.

Where we shoot will dictate what time we shoot. If we decide to shoot in your home or place of business, time will be flexible depending on lighting. That said, the best time for home/office shoots is generally in the morning. If we decide to shoot outdoors, I prefer to shoot in the morning or the evening for the most ideal lighting. I am a natural light photographer and rely on the location of the sun to capture beautiful images. Mid-day, the sun is often too harsh. If that is the only time that works for you, we will plan our location accordingly.

Length Of Session:

My branding sessions generally last about two hours.

What To Wear:

You should wear what you feel comfortable in and reflects who you are. The location we choose may impact your choices, so keep that in mind. Take a look at this guide for tips on what to wear.

Props:

We can discuss this in more detail, but I suggest that you bring tools of your trade to your session. If we are in your office this should be an easy ask :)

Please arrive and/or be ready to start on time:

Remember, your session is scheduled according to light.  It is important that we start on time.  Please plan for traffic or parking constraints.  It's best to arrive early.

I can’t wait to capture you! See you soon!
