QUESTIONS TO ASK YOUR FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHER-BOISE FAMILY PHOTOGRAPHY

Okay! You’ve found a photographer you love and booked a session, good job! Now what? Well, it’s important to remember that this is a business transaction…a totally fun one that results in amazing lasting momentos for you and your family.

So, before your session I recommend asking your photographer a few key questions so you know exactly what to expect and when to expect it.

1. WHAT DOES YOUR PRICE INCLUDE?

You’ll want to understand what you’re getting for your money. How long your session will be, how many images, the format used for delivering proofs, etc.

2 HOW WILL I RECEIVE THE PORTRAITS OF MY FAMILY?

Most professional photographers use high quality online proofing software to display your images, they can probably show you an example if you ask. For my clients, I have an option to download all images directly from their gallery.

3. WHEN SHOULD I EXPECT TO RECEIVE MY PORTRAITS?

You’ll want to know when you should expect your images to be delivered. If you’re anything like me, you’ll want your images THE VERY NEXT DAY, but don’t count on that :) Editing your images will take time, so it’s better to have an idea of when that will be so you aren’t refreshing your email every ten seconds.

4. FREE TIP:

Before your session you should address any specific concerns you have regarding your family’s photoshoot. You’ll want to give your photographer a heads up on any quirks your family may have…and we all have them. Grumpy husband, a toddler in the throws of the terrible twos, or maybe you have a special needs child. Letting your photographer know will give them the ability to come as prepared as possible for a seamless shoot.
